Policies and Security

SBC Policy
The Policy/Postmaster department is the SBC Internet Services resource center for matters relating to end-user abuse (e.g., commercial/unsolicited bulk E-mail, online harassment, inappropriate web page content, unauthorized access attempts, denial of service attacks, etc.).

More specifically, the Policy department is responsible for:

• Enforcing compliance of SBCIS dedicated customers with the respective Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policies.
  
  
• Acting as liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement officials in their investigations of criminal activity.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
All customers are responsible for their own security. SBCIS takes no responsibility for the failure of customers to set up proper security measures. We DO NOT consult customers on how to set up security.
